How to make a home solar power supply system by yourself.

The home solar power supply system consists of solar modules, solar controllers, inverters, and batteries (packs).

(1) Solar modules: Solar modules are the core part of the solar power supply system and the highest value part of the solar power supply system. Its function is to convert the sun’s radiant energy into electrical energy, or send it to the battery for storage, or push the load to work. The quality and cost of solar modules will directly determine the quality and cost of the entire system.

(2) Solar controller: The role of the solar controller is to control the working state of the entire system, and play the role of overcharge protection and overdischarge protection for the battery. In places with large temperature differences, qualified controllers should also have the function of temperature compensation. Other additional functions such as light control switches and time control switches should be optional for the controller.

(3) Battery: generally lead-acid battery, small micro system, can also be used nickel-metal hydride battery, nickel-cadmium battery or lithium battery. Its function is to store the electrical energy supplied by the solar module when there is light, and then release it when needed.

(4) Inverter: The inverter is a device that converts direct current (DC) into alternating current (AC). It consists of an inverter bridge, control logic, and filter circuitry. The inverter also has an automatic voltage regulation function, which can improve the quality of power supply of photovoltaic power generation systems.
